Privacy Policy

Effective 2026-11-05. This policy covers Solar Roof Estimator, operated by Parker Computing Services, LLC (“we”, “us”).

What we collect

• Addresses you look up and the roof and solar results we calculate for them.
• Information you give us: email, name and phone number, and any settings you enter, such as your electricity price or usage.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, and whether your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal.

How we use it

• To run the estimator, show your results, and email you the report you request.
• To connect you with solar installers when you ask for quotes.
• To prevent abuse (for example, rate limits) and improve the service.

How we share it

We share information in these cases:

• Quote requests: when you ask for quotes, we send your name, contact details, address and roof plan to up to three solar installers, who may contact you as you agreed.
• Solar partners: we may share or sell the addresses people look up, their estimator results, and contact details they give us to solar installers and energy companies that may offer them products or services. Under some state laws this counts as a “sale” of personal data.
• Service providers that run our hosting, email and maps (including Google, whose Maps and Solar services power the estimator), only to provide those services.
• When required by law or to protect our rights.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us not to sell or share your information, or to access, correct or delete it. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as an opt-out of sale and sharing. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights, including the right to appeal our decision on a request.

Children

The estimator is for adults and is not directed to children under 13.

We may update this policy and will change the effective date when we do.
